A community based, Not-For-Profit with multiple entities, require the assistance of a Senior Financial Accountant to assist with Audit, financial reporting and a systems implementation on a temp to perm basis. You will report directly to the CFO and the position will develop into leading the team and a junior Financial Controller role.

The Role
Reporting to the CFO and leading the accounting team, the responsibilities of the role will include,

• Driving month end, GL and balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of financial statements and statutory reporting
• Management reporting and analysis
• Audit preparation and liaison
• Process improvement projects and assisting in a new system implementation

About You
The successful applicant will have/be,

• CA or CPA qualified or studying towards
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Hands on, with a strategic mindset
• A high level of attention to detail and well developed communication skills
• A positive and professional team player
