At Bila Community Group, we are dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities in achieving their best possible lives. We are seeking a Participant Liaison who is caring, compassionate, and understands the importance of fostering strong, trusting relationships with participants and their families.

This role is ideal for someone with a nursing background, but we welcome applications from people with the correct values, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting others.

What you’ll be doing:

Working closely with participants and their families to understand their needs, goals, and aspirations.

Assisting with care planning, risk assessments, and ongoing reviews to ensure supports remain effective and aligned with NDIS requirements.

Acting as a point of contact between participants, their families, support workers, and allied health professionals.

Helping participants access the proper supports, services, and opportunities within their plans.

Supporting with documentation, reporting, and referrals as needed.

Guiding and mentoring support workers to ensure participants receive consistent, high-quality care.

About you:

You are caring, approachable, and able to build strong relationships based on trust and respect.

You bring experience in health, disability, or community services (a Nursing qualification is highly regarded but not essential).

You understand person-centred care and the importance of choice and control.

You are organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable with documentation and compliance requirements.

You are proactive, solution-focused, and able to adapt to the changing needs of participants.

Requirements:

Current First Aid and CPR certificate.

Current driver’s licence and access to reliable transport.

IT literacy (comfortable with email, online portals, and documentation).

Knowledge of the NDIS is highly desirable.

Why join Bila Community Group?

Be part of a supportive, purpose-driven team that makes a real difference.

Opportunities for professional development and growth.

Sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.

If you’re passionate about supporting people to achieve their goals and want to be part of a caring team, we’d love to hear from you.
