About the Role
Join Women NSW in the Communities, Justice and National Security Branch to conduct evaluations and research that informs evidence-based policy and investment decisions. You'll design and deliver program evaluations, including economic risk assessments, and help build a robust reporting framework for Gender Equality Action Plans (GEAP) across government.
Your work will directly support budget submissions, data dashboards, and ministerial briefings, requiring clear communication of complex data to senior stakeholders. You'll collaborate with colleagues across Women NSW and other departments, contributing to survey design, data collection, and analysis using tools like Excel and Power BI.

We're Looking For
- Data collection & analysis: You're confident working with both quantitative and qualitative data to deliver credible evaluations
Analytical problem-solving skills and mathematical proficiency. You bring skills to analyse complex data sets, identify patterns and trends and have a strong understanding of mathematical concepts, including statistics and probability. - Program evaluation expertise: You bring experience in designing and conducting evaluations aligned with NSW Government guidelines
- Stakeholder engagement & communication: You build strong relationships and have the aptitude to tailor insights for diverse audiences, including executives and ministers.
- Collaborative problem-solving: You work well in teams, contribute to continuous improvement, and help others navigate complex challenges
- Economic thinking & financial acumen: You understand cost-benefit analysis and apply economic reasoning to support policy and budget decisions
- Digital tools & adaptability: You're comfortable using Excel and Power BI, and open to learning new systems to support data-driven work
