Front of House - Elmo’s Burgers

We’re looking for a Front of House (FOH) team member who brings energy, positivity, and pride to everything they do. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a busy environment, loves engaging with customers, and takes ownership in making the shop look and feel better every single shift. We want someone with potential to lead the team too, on a casual basis!

Key Responsibilities

Provide a warm, bubbly, and professional customer experience at all times.

Keep the shop spotless: constantly cleaning, resetting, and maintaining high standards of presentation.

Follow team procedures and systems to ensure smooth and consistent service.

Prepare and serve shakes to standard.

Support the kitchen by assisting with the chip section and fryers when needed.

Work efficiently under pressure without panicking, keeping calm and collected during busy service.

Be proactive in spotting what needs to be done—whether that’s cleaning, stocking, or helping teammates.

About the Role

We’re looking for a chef who brings the right attitude as much as skill. At Elmo’s Burgers, our kitchen is built on consistency, cleanliness, and pride. This role is for someone who thrives under pressure, follows hygiene procedures to the letter, and takes satisfaction in producing perfectly cooked smashed burgers, fries, and sides—every time.

Key Responsibilities

Cook smashed burgers, fries, and sides to Elmo’s exact standards.

Learn and master the smash technique that defines our burgers.

Maintain the highest hygiene and food safety standards at all times (clean as you go).

Follow all kitchen procedures and systems for efficiency and consistency.

Always be proactive—constantly looking for the next task that keeps the kitchen moving.

Keep all workstations clean, organised, and fully stocked throughout service.

Assist with prep before service (sauces, toppings, patties, buns, etc.).

Work seamlessly with the team during peak periods, staying calm under pressure.

Ensure equipment and tools are used correctly and maintained in top condition.

Support training of junior staff on proper technique, hygiene, and pace of service.
