About Smith St Bistrot:

Smith St Bistrot re-creates an authentic French bistrot experience with a north-side edge, returning the site to a Smith Street institution. The menu demonstrates Scott Pickett’s classic French training, with dishes inspired by his favourite dining experiences from all across Europe. Not just about the food, Smith St Bistrot will be a great place for locals to drop in regularly for interesting cocktails, local wines and boutique beers. The bistrot is open for dinner Monday - Saturday as well as lunches Friday - Sunday.

About you:

We are searching for enthusiastic personalities who have a passion for everything food, beverage and hospitality, with an attitude to match:

You have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within a high volume restaurant (hatted experience preferred but not essential)

You have a good level of Australian food & wine knowledge, and the desire to continue learning

You can prove effective planning, time management and decision-making skills

You have the ability to think on your feet and be a leader rather than a follower

You will have front and back-end POS experience, with Ordermate experience preferred

You are able to prove your value in a similar role

You are able to keep up in a fast-paced business with Scott Pickett at the helm

You are excited to share your creativity, knowledge and skill with our team
