About the role

As a Team Leader at Johnny H QLD, based at Varsity Lakes, you will assist in coordinating the daily operations of team to ensure they work cohesively for the participant/s and have clear objectives and working in a person-centered model.

What you'll be doing

Leading a team of Disability Support professionals to create a positive team culture.

Support people living with disabilities within our ULearn, Life Skills and Social programs

Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders including clients, families, and team.

Coordinate rosters alongside the General Manager to support client/s requirements according to individual support needs, service funding and relevant legislation.

Provide coaching, and identify development opportunities

Complete induction/training of new team members when required

Support in the growth of the Johnny H program.

What we're looking for

Demonstrated experience in reporting and implementing processes essential.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues

Proficient in MSOffice and use of technology such as MS Teams, scanning, printers, etc. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal teams

Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

Strong written and oral communication skills

Understanding of NDIS
