At this time, we are seeking a Field Service Technician for a leading supplier of food processing and packaging machinery to manage and service an installed base in QLD and Northern NSW

This role is focused on the installation, maintenance and breakdown response for a range of food and protein processing and packaging solutions. Working autonomously from your Brisbane or northern Gold Coast base, you will be reporting to an interstate based Service Manager. On a daily basis, your day to day duties will include but not be limited to:

• The installation and commissioning of new machinery
• On site responses to breakdown and preventative maintenance servicing of machinery
• Providing excellent customer service and end-user training
• Completion of service reports and documentation to a high standard

It is envisaged that the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate most or all of the following:

• Relevant trade qualifications
• Experience installing and trouble shooting industrial machinery..
• Sound basic Electrical knowledge. ie: can read electrical drawings, troubleshoot circuitry via the use of multi-meters etc and can change like for like. The ability to obtain a Restricted Licence would be a distinct advantage
• High level communication and customer service skills
• Able to work overtime including on weekends
• Able to travel locally, interstate and internationally as required
