Russell Air is seeking a highly skilled Senior Service Technician to join our Domestic, Light Commercial & Service Division. This full-time position is perfect for a technician who’s confident in the field, ready to take ownership of their role, and looking to step up into service management in the near future.

You’ll lead by example, taking charge of day-to-day servicing across residential and commercial environments from split systems to ducted, VRF, and package units. We’re after someone thorough, fault-finding savvy, and ready to grow.

What you’ll be doing:

Service and fault-find on split, ducted, VRF & package units (residential + commercial)

Perform maintenance and repairs across a range of systems and brands

Provide high-level documentation and detailed service reports

Liaise professionally with clients and support the wider service team

Mentor junior techs and assist with improving service processes

Act as a lead technician with the opportunity to grow into a management role

What you bring to the table:

Cert III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration

Current ARCtick Licence + Construction White Card

Manual driver’s licence

Strong experience across all system types, especially VRF and packaged units

Advanced fault finding and diagnostic skills

Excellent communication and client service abilities

High attention to detail with thorough documentation

Leadership potential and a drive to step into a management role
