About the role

We are seeking an experienced Swimming Pool Service Technician to join our team at Pool Tek' in Carindale, Queensland. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of residential and commercial swimming pools, ensuring they are in optimal condition for our clients. This is a hands-on position that will allow you to utilise your technical expertise to deliver a high-quality service.

What you'll be doing

Perform routine pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning, testing and adjusting chemical levels, and cleaning filters

Identify and diagnose issues with pool equipment and machinery, and carry out necessary repairs

Experience with comprehensive pool equipment repair including pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and automated systems is required

Installation of Pool Equipment

Advise clients on appropriate pool care and maintenance, and recommend products or services as needed

Maintain accurate records of all service visits and work completed

Ensure work is completed in a timely and efficient manner, meeting or exceeding customer expectations

Collaborate with the wider team to share knowledge and best practices

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Swimming Pool Service Technician, with a minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience

Strong technical knowledge of swimming pool systems, equipment, and water chemistry

Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve issues

Good communication skills to liaise with clients and provide clear recommendations

A valid manual driver's licence

A positive, customer-focused attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Australian permanent resident or citizen status is required for this position
