About the Role:
gforce employment + recruitment is seeking a Carpenter to join a local government organisation in Ballarat on a temporary full-time casual basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and hands-on experience in maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct maintenance and repair work on playgrounds, public buildings, and facilities
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including manual labour
• Follow instructions and work as part of a team to meet deadlines
• Maintain strong safety standards at all times

Requirements:

• Qualified carpenter, experienced handyman will be considered
• HR Truck Licence is advantageous but not essential
• Physically fit and capable of manual tasks
• Demonstrated reliability and a strong work ethic
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug screening, and police check

What's on Offer:

• Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 7:15am - 4:15pm
• Competitive hourly rate: $40
• Duration: 3 months, with potential for extension
