Head Chef

Set on over 200 acres of bushland, The Tops Conference Centre is a place where people come to connect, reflect and recharge. We host school groups, community organisations and teams for retreats, camps and conferences.

At The Tops mealtimes are an opportunity for connection where food is a shared experience despite someone's dietary restrictions. As our Head Chef, you'll lead a kitchen team that prepares fresh, nutritious meals for large groups with diverse dietary needs. You'll create menus in line with visitor requirements, manage kitchen operations and ensure food safety standards are met. You'll also foster a positive team culture and support the growth and development of your staff.

About You

• You're an experienced chef who thrives in high-volume environments,
• You understand the importance of dietary requirements and take pride in creating meals that are both safe and satisfying,
• You're a natural leader who brings calm to busy kitchens and supports your team to do their best work,
• A friendly, reliable attitude, willingness to improve your skills and a heart for service,
• You hold relevant qualifications and are willing to get a Working with Children Check.
