About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Caretaker to join our team at the Kenilworth Hall Show & Recreation Grounds Association Inc. in Kenilworth, Queensland. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day office duties of our vibrant community owned camping grounds and facilities.

What you'll be doing

Performing general general office duties including bookings, check ins and check outs of our campgrounds. Balance end of day and weekly accounting procedures.

Liaise with the groundsman, cleaners and management committee to ensuring the grounds and facilities are well-presented and safe for all users

Assisting with the coordination and set-up of events and activities hosted at the venue

Responding to inquiries and providing support to visitors of the grounds

What we're looking for

Experience in a similar caretaker or admin role.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards

Have sound computer, internet and communication skills

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders

Flexibility to work weekends and outside of standard business hours as required

Have common sense and be able to assist with cleaning, maintenance or mowing if required.

A keen interest in supporting the local community and contributing to the success of our showgrounds.
