Enrolled Nurses - $44.02 + penalties + superannuation (inc. cas. loading).

We provide care and support to clients with complex health requirements including mental health. Training is delivered by Nurse Educators to individuals & organisations within the community services industry.

The Enrolled Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe and effective nursing care, under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN).

The Support Worker / Nursing Student provides support as per support & care plan alongside an Enrolled Nurse to ensure optimum health outcomes.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (depending on qualifications & participant requirements):

Adhere to positive behaviour support plans & implementing documented strategies to best support positive outcomes for the participant

Approach complex situations with calm, compassion, and professionalism—your presence can be a powerful source of reassurance.

Contributing to the development, modification& evaluation of care plan

IMI & Sub cut injections, PEG feeding & tracheostomy care, etc

Able to administer insulin using sliding scale

Attend to personal cares, catheter flushes, medication administration, etc

Visiting client homes to provide nursing care

Work closely with your fellow team members to create a smooth, stable, and positive service environment.

Support consistency and quality in programming through proper documentation and regular reviews.

Supporting ADLs including light domestic, personal care, cooking, etc

Liaise with Case Manager RN & stakeholders

Provide direction and supervision (ENs) to support workers

Attend to medical emergencies & provide first aid as required

Deescalate and provide mental health support and manage & provide a safe & calm environment around escalating behaviours.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse with no restrictions (ENs)

Diploma of Nursing or working towards a Diploma/Bachelor of Nursing

Work a rotating roster with a willingness to work night duty (if required) including inactive sleepovers

First Aid and CPR certificate

Worker Screening check

Proven technological, communication and time management skills

A passion for providing quality care

Driver's license and own vehicle

*May consider new graduates nurses with a carer support background or support worker background.
