About the Role:
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will deliver person-centred nursing care in line with consumers’ needs and support the Registered Nurse. You will uphold Sundale’s standards, values, and philosophy while contributing to a positive, team-oriented environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Care Delivery: Provide high-quality, coordinated care using your nursing knowledge, skills, and evidence-based approaches.
• Compliance: Ensure all practices align with the National Competency Standards for Enrolled Nurses and Sundale’s policies and procedures.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of consumer care activities.
• Empowerment: Encourage consumers to maintain their preferred lifestyle and make empowered decisions about their care.
• Support: Collaborate with and support team members to foster a positive work environment.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with professional development to ensure best practices in clinical care.
• Safety: Adhere to all Workplace Health and Safety principles and contribute to a safe working environment for all.

Key Attributes:

• Competence in infection control principles.
• Strong understanding of the aging process and dementia care.
• Knowledge and skills in all areas of care delivery, especially in an aged care setting.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills for documentation and care management.
• Ability to work flexibly within a team and build positive relationships with consumers and colleagues.
• A positive and resilient outlook, with a passion for aged care services.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Current AHPRA registration.
• Current CPR certification.
• Police Check
• Pre-employment medical assessment
