Our client is a leader in sustainable timber processing and manufacturing supplying its high - quality products into markets around Australia and internationally. We are now seeking a skilled manager to oversee our state - of - the - art downstream production facility. The location will appeal to applicants seeking a family - friendly working and living environment.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager you will be responsible for:

Managing the kiln and boiler operations.

Maximising yield from the processing operations.

Maintaining production standards at the highest level.

Adherence to WHS, environmental and regulatory requirements.

Leading and developing the team

Establishiing a safety - first culture across the site.

To be successful in your application you must demonstrate:

Leadership experience in timber manufacturing.

Technical understanding of kiln operations

Problem - solving skills

Initiative, drive and the capacity to make decisions.

A strong focus on safety

A track record of process improvement in a manufacturing environment
