About the role

Beenleigh RSL & Golf Club is seeking a skilled and dedicated Golf Course Mechanic to join our dynamic team. As a Golf Course Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing the equipment and machinery used to keep our golf course in pristine condition. This full-time position is based in Mount Warren Park and is an excellent opportunity for an automotive trades professional to contribute to the success of our club.

What you'll be doing

Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on a wide range of golf course equipment, including mowers, tractors, and other specialised machinery

Diagnose and repair any mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues with the equipment

Source and order necessary parts and supplies to ensure the efficient operation of the equipment

Collaborate with the golf course superintendent and team to ensure the smooth running of course maintenance operations

Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities

Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment

What we're looking for

Relevant trade qualification in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Golf Course Mechanic or similar role in the automotive/machinery maintenance industry

Excellent knowledge of the maintenance and repair of a wide range of golf course equipment and machinery

Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills to quickly identify and resolve equipment issues

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to support the golf course maintenance operations

Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with the golf course superintendent and team

Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe working environment
