About the Position

As Senior Group Accountant, you will play a key role in the delivery of high-quality technical accounting and financial reporting. You will gain exposure to complex accounting areas with a particular focus on AASB 16 (leases), as well as other technical accounting standards relevant to a large, asset-intensive organisation. Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and reviewing technical accounting papers, policies, and position papers
• Supporting statutory and group reporting requirements
• Driving improvements in reporting processes and systems
• Partnering with finance leaders on complex transactions and projects

About You

You will be CA/CPA qualified with a strong technical grounding in financial reporting, ideally gained from a Big 4 or mid-tier audit background or within a large, complex corporate environment. You’ll bring:

• Strong familiarity of accounting standards
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
