Do you want to live & work in a beautiful part of NSW on the Mid North Coast with beautiful beaches and spectacular bush all within an 1 1/2 drive? Mid Coast Mowers is located in Taree & looking for a qualified mechanic to run our workshop & train the next generation of Power Equipment Trainee's.

Technicians are specifically responsible for the service and repair of a broad range of lawn care machinery and other equipment including diesel, petrol, battery, and electric powered commercial and domestic ride on mowers, brushcutters, and chainsaws. With so many different types of equipment, makes, and models to work on, the work is always interesting!!

About you:

You are likely to be a qualified mechanic with a genuine interest in all things mechanical and a flair for getting to the cause of problems and fixing them. Previous repair experience with similar plant and equipment while desirable is not absolutely essential.

Completion of a recognised mechanical qualification is required for this position.

A minimum of 2 years of qualified mechanical experience is essential.

Team player who can impart knowledge to others

Broad knowledge on various small and large plant and power equipment

Welding and fabrication capabilities preferred

Clean driving record with current license essential

Forklift license preferred

Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required
