About Kurrajong Hotel
In the heart of Erskineville, the soon-to-open Kurrajong Hotel is set to become the locals’ new favourite. We treasure the suburb’s historical heritage while creating a pub that’s warm, welcoming, and unpretentious. Alongside classic Australian pub dining, the venue will feature a boutique hotel for guests seeking comfort with a community feel. Operating 7 days a week, the Kurrajong Hotel will serve lunch and dinner daily, plus brunch on weekends, making it a true hub for locals and visitors alike.

About the Roles
We’re looking for chefs of ALL LEVELS, FULL-TIME and CASUAL to join our new opening kitchen team:

Commis Chef

Prep Chefs & Cooks

Kitchen Porters

As part of the brigade, you’ll:

Deliver consistent, high-quality food in a busy pub environment

Work closely as part of a tight-knit team with supportive leadership

Learn and grow with opportunities for training and progression

Play your part in building a kitchen culture from scratch

About You

Previous kitchen experience (entry-level to senior – multiple positions available)

Passion for food and hospitality

Highly organised and efficient with prep and service

Strong communication and teamwork skills

HACCP knowledge an advantage

Full Australian work rights; flexible availability
