About the Business
Join an established stone fabrication & installation specialist serving residential and commercial clients across NSW. Operating from a large, well‑equipped facility, who work with premium materials (marble, granite, engineered stone, porcelain) to deliver high‑end benchtops, feature walls, fireplaces, cladding, and bespoke architectural pieces. Projects include everything from luxury home renovations to boutique commercial fit‑outs. They pride themselves on craftsmanship, attention to detail, and delivering on time.

Role Overview
As Project Manager, you'll oversee all phases of stone and architectural surface projects, from initial scope through to final handover. You will manage internal teams, liaise with clients, architects, suppliers and installers, ensure quality standards, schedule delivery and installations, and maintain control of project budgets and timelines. This role requires a hands‑on leader who can manage site requirements, anticipate issues, and maintain the high standards our clients expect.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from tender / quotation through to fabrication, installation and handover
• Interpret architectural plans, drawings, and site conditions to define scope and deliverables
• Prepare and oversee schedules and delivery timelines, ensuring milestones are met
• Control project budgets, manage cost variations, and maintain financial reporting
• Communicate with clients, interior designers, architects, and builders to clarify expectations and finishes
• Coordinate with fabrication & installation teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Ensure quality assurance at all stages; ensure workmanship and finish meet specifications
• Conduct site inspections, attend project meetings, and supervise installations where required
• Maintain compliance with safety, building codes, material specifications and regulatory requirements

Skills & Experience

• At least 4‑5 years of project management experience in stone fabrication, joinery, or high‑finish interior surfaces
• Strong technical understanding of stone types (natural & engineered), finishing, fabrication, and installation methods
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/joinery drawings and specifications with precision
• Proven track record of managing budgets, cost control, and variation handling
• Excellent stakeholder management: communication skills to deal with clients, builders, designers etc.
• Strong organisational, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills
• Experience in site work and supervising installation teams
• Valid driver's licence; ability to travel to sites across NSW
