About us
Action Steel is a third-generation family business based in Stawell, Victoria. We design, manufacture, and install high-quality agricultural sheds across Australia — and we're looking for a skilled Sales Design Estimator to join our team.

The Role
You'll be responsible for preparing accurate quotes, drawings, and proposals for our clients, helping us deliver great outcomes and continue our growth. This role can be remote or based in our Stawell office.

What You'll Do

Prepare quotes, cost estimates, and proposal sketches.

Work with suppliers, engineers, and trades to keep projects moving.

Use your Excel and design skills to improve and present proposals.

Support the sales team with accurate and timely information.

What We're Looking For

Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and formulas (VBA/macros highly desirable). Proficient in SketchUp and/or AutoCAD for technical drawings

Background in steel fabrication, construction, or related industries.

Great communication skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently (remote work supported).

Understanding of Australian building codes and engineering standards for agricultural structures
