HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER

IWC is seeking a full-time Human Resource Manager to join our growing organisation.

ABOUT IWC:

IWC is an Aboriginal community-controlled and multi-accredited health and wellbeing organisation. We deliver services without discrimination to Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Bundaberg and the Wide Bay Burnett.

DUTIES:

Oversee recruitment, including job description review, advertising approval, screening of candidates, recommendations for interview, and related processes.

Provide advice and recommendations to Executive Management for action of recruitment, probation review, internal investigation, and disciplinary action.

Record Management of personnel files, training, and contractual agreements.

Accomplish special projects as identified by Executive Management and evaluation of optimal course of action for implementation.

WorkCover and return to work plans for employee rehabilitation. Non-work-related injury management of suitable duties.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Demonstrated experience working in Human Resource Management.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

High level of confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive information.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

A current driver's licence or ability to obtain.

A First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain.

A Federal Police Check or ability to obtain.

A Blue Card (Working with Children Card QLD)* or ability to obtain.

* No Card, No Start legislation means that the successful applicant will need to hold a valid blue card before they start work. IWC will cover the cost of this application for the successful candidate.

SALARY PACKAGE:

Your Salary Package is made up of the following: -

Salary Sacrifice Packaging valued up to $15,990 per annum – adding approximately $4,000 to your take-home pay (available after completion of probation).

Meals and Entertainment Package up to $2,600 per annum (available after completion of probation).

9-Day Fortnight (for full-time staff).

Superannuation valued at 12%.

Annual Leave Loading of 17.5%
