Summary

Our client, a leading provider of health and community services, is seeking a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Officer to support the Work Health and Safety Manager. This role plays a key part in managing workers' compensation and injury management processes while driving employee wellbeing initiatives and supporting broader WHS functions.

About the Position
In this role, you will:

• Coordinate and administer injury management and return-to-work processes.
• Liaise with employees, managers, treating practitioners, and rehab providers to deliver safe, sustainable return-to-work outcomes.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in line with legislative requirements.
• Identify opportunities for early intervention and implement proactive injury-prevention strategies.
• Lead wellbeing initiatives across multiple sites, promoting programs that support physical and psychological health.
• Support WHS functions, including incident reporting, investigations, inspections, and committee activities.
• Assist with training, inductions, and communication of safety and wellbeing updates.

About You

You have experience in injury management, an understanding of WHS legislation and workers' compensation processes. You combine excellent communication skills with the ability to manage sensitive matters with empathy and confidentiality.

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualifications in Human Resources, Occupational Health, Injury Management, Allied Health, or a related discipline.
• Experience in injury management and return-to-work coordination.
• Understanding WHS legislation, workers' compensation, and wellbeing frameworks.
