Farm Operations Supervisor – Yeppoon, QLD

We are a fast-growing, family-run farming business located in Yeppoon, Central Queensland, seeking a hands-on and reliable Farm Operations Supervisor to support our Farm Manager with daily operations.

This is a leadership role ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, team supervision, and being part of a supportive, community-minded team.

About the Role:

Induct and train new staff, mostly Working Holiday Makers completing their 88-day regional work.

Supervise and assist with planting, harvesting, and collection of plant material.

Support the Farm Mechanic with machinery breakdowns or workarounds when needed.

Oversee daily workflow and manage team productivity to meet time-sensitive tasks.

Ensure all tasks are completed safely and in line with Work Health & Safety (WHS) standards.

Communicate effectively with staff and the Farm Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.

What You’ll Need:

Proven experience operating and maintaining farm machinery.

Previous hands-on experience in agriculture with staff supervision responsibilities.

Ability to work independently and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.

Good level of physical fitness and a positive, can-do attitude.

Strong time management and communication skills.

Forklift licence (essential).

HR (Heavy Rigid) truck licence (highly regarded but not essential).
