About the Role

We are seeking applications for the role of Dining Manager. The main focus of this role is to support the Food & Beverage Management Team in delivering exceptional dining and event experiences at QPAC by driving service excellence, fostering staff development, and ensuring the smooth, efficient and profitable operation of restaurants and functions.

In this role you will:

Deliver and maintain high standards of service, quality and consistency across restaurants and functions.

Support the recruitment, training, development of a large casual workforce to ensure skilled and motivated teams.

Assist with planning, product development and outlet and function requirements to meet client expectations, financial targets and strategic goals.

Manage and utilise systems including POS, rostering, stock control and event management software to drive efficiency and profitability.

Ensure compliance with licensing, food safety, workplace health and safety, EBA requirements and QPAC’s Code of Conduct.

About You

To be successful in this role, we are looking for:

Demonstrated experience in a variety of dining establishments, including functions.

Proven experience in leading and managing a large team.

Demonstrated communication skills and the ability to effectively relate and work with a broad range of people.

Proven ability to implement, monitor and maintain consistent standards relating to quality, presentation and hygiene.

A demonstrated "customer first" approach to service standards and problem solving.

A current nationally accredited Statement of Attainment in ‘Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol’ or ‘RMLV’, or the ability to obtain this within 30 days of commencement.

Flexibility in work times as the majority of shifts are rotated over 7 days, including evenings and weekends.
