About the role

Fitzy's Hotel Toowoomba is seeking an experienced Duty Manager to join our dynamic team in our Toowoomba CBD location. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel during your shifts. This is a full-time position with a competitive remuneration package and opportunity for career development.

What you'll be doing

Overseeing the daily operations of the hotel including food, beverage and gaming services

Handling guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner

Monitoring staff performance and providing feedback and coaching as needed

Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and security regulations

Representing the hotel and promoting its services to guests and the local community

What we're looking for

Experience in a similar Duty Manager or Hotel Manager role within the hospitality industry

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a Duty Manager or Hotel Manager role

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations

Proficient in using hotel management software and other relevant technology

Knowledge of food and beverage operations, housekeeping, and front office procedures

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays

Australian citizenship or permanent residency required

RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate required before starting

RSG (Responsible Service of Gaming) certificate required before starting
