Experienced Carpenters Wanted for Leading Hand Roles preferably with experience building high end Modular buildings. Experience on Modular is not essential but would certainly be a benefit.

For the right applicants if you progress through to running your own builds we have a bonus program in place for builds that are installed on time and on budget. With the way the Modular Industry is currently going, and the direction we are heading in then you could make considerably more money in bonuses.

Salary negotiable for the right candidate and other positions are available for general carpenters also. Our company is experiencing rapid growth and good reliable builders who are looking for somewhere they that want to settle in and be looked after in return is what we are after.

The leading hand positions are on the tools. We want you to be running your own jobs and own crew within the business.

We require our carpenters to have their own tools and transport. Any specialised or larger tools that are required are supplied by the company.

Your Role:

We allocate you a job and all the materials required to complete that job.

We go over the plans with you prior to the base for the build arriving in the yard. Once the base arrives all the materials are at your disposal and you just need to follow the plans and complete the build up to the point where its ready to be lifted out of the yard.

Site works will also be organised and completed by you for your designated jobs. All sites are different and customers sometime request a little extra like garages etc. Each job is different but we need you to complete them from start to finish, all aspects.

Full administration support is supplied by the office for ordering etc so you don't need to worry about that.

We have a large pool of reliable and high quality subbies that we use and they will also be at your disposal to fit into your build schedule for each job. You will be required to liase with them and book them in to the dates you will require them.

You will potentially have more than one job on the go at once and have to organise your time between your jobs to make them run smoothly.

We use Builder Trend for scheduling and project management. We will train you in the use of this program.

We require you to liaise with the administration staff in the office via company email etc as required for all matters related to your jobs.

Being able to read and interpret plans is essential.
