The opportunity

Gladstone Refrigeration & Air-conditioning is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Electrician to join their team in Gladstone, QLD. This is a full-time role where you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in the electrical trade while working alongside experienced professionals.

Key responsibilities

Assist qualified electricians in the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment

Undertake hands-on training to develop your practical skills in electrical work

Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment

Participate in on-the-job training and complete necessary formal education to obtain your electrical certification

Demonstrate a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic

What we're looking for

A 1st, 2nd or 3rd year apprentice to join our onsite industrial teams at a local plant

A desire to pursue a career as an electrician and a passion for the electrical trade

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

The ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

A commitment to safety and a willingness to learn

Current driver's licence and reliable transport essential
