About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Year 1 Apprentice Electrician to join our team at Mackie & Co Electrical in Toowoomba, Queensland.

This full-time role offers the opportunity to embark on a rewarding career in the electrical industry, with hands-on training and mentorship from experienced professionals.

What you'll be doing

Assist experienced electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in commercial, residential and rural locations

Gain practical experience in a variety of electrical tasks, including wiring, testing, and troubleshooting

Maintain a safe and organised work environment

What we're looking for

Genuine interest in the electrical industry and a willingness to learn

Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and alone

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety

Competent driver as you'll be driving larger vehicles

Hands-on training & support in completing your electrical apprenticeship

$50 a week Tool Allowance

$12.50 a week Laundry/clothing allowance

7.30am - 3.30pm Mon - Thurs

7.30am - 2.00pm Friday

Generally overtime from Monday - Thursday with a strong focus for Early finish Fridays
