The Company

Pacific Boating operates a fleet of luxury sports cruisers from 2 locations on Sydney Harbour and Pittwater

Largest and fastest growing business of its type in Australia with over 15 year's experience

Our members enjoy access to luxury boats without the costs and hassles of boat ownership through a 'walk on walk off' service.

We currently have nineteen luxury sports cruisers in our fleet: five 32' Sea Ray Sundancers , ten 44' Sea Ray Sundancers and four 52' Sea Ray Sundancers.

The Role

This role will be expected to converse with and provide solutions to our diverse membership base. You must be confident and have the ability to think on your feet. A sound level of physical fitness is also required to safely move on and around our fleet.

Your role will involve, but not be limited to:

Preparation and cleaning of vessels prior to member cruises each day

Meet and greet members and conduct safety briefings

Handle member queries regarding operation of vessels as required

Undertake general maintenance duties on boats including detailing, re-fueling and pump outs

Oversee casual cleaning staff

Flexible Roster - weekends included (every other weekend off)

The Candidate

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic and energetic. You should enjoy getting your hands dirty with the physical maintenance of the fleet, followed by warmly welcoming and briefing our members before they cruise.

Candidates must be permanent residents of Australia or hold valid Australian work rights.

We're also looking for someone with a mature head who has:

Strong customer service skills dealing with internal and external stakeholders

Minimum of 1-2 years customer service experience required

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Mature, well presented self starter

Hands on approach to tasks with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Experience in marine industry and a general boat licence is desirable but not essential

Physically fit, with the ability to lift items weighing 20kg

We're also on the lookout for candidates with Maritime Training capabilities.
