We’re hiring a Legal Secretary – TPD, Workers’ Comp or MVA experience. We’re open to part-time too (minimum 4 days) if that suits you better.

We’re growing and looking for a legal secretary with experience in workers’ compensation or motor vehicle accident claims to join our team.

Whether your background is in TPD, workers’ comp or MVA, the skills transfer. You'll support a lawyer handling workers’ comp, work injury damages, and TPD claims, helping matters progress smoothly.

What you’ll be doing

Draft legal documents and lodge applications

Request medical records and follow up with doctors and treatment providers

Organise independent medical exams and specialist appointments

Liaise with clients and keep them informed throughout their claim

Follow up insurers, GPs, specialists, and other contacts

Structure and maintain briefs for hearings and conferences

Manage diaries and schedule Commission dates

What we’re looking for

At least 1 year of experience as a legal secretary in TPD, workers’ compensation or MVA

Well-organised, able to handle deadlines and multitask

Clear, empathetic communicator who reassures clients during difficult times
