Tandem Partners are delighted to partner with a highly respected, long-established organisation in the financial services sector that holds a strong reputation for its integrity, impact, and people-first approach.
The opportunity:
This role is responsible for supporting the development and execution of the organisation’s learning and development strategy – building internal capability to meet future growth and deliver on strategic goals.
As the Learning & Development Adviser, you will liaise closely with the Head of People Experience & Capability and work cross-functionally with stakeholders including senior leaders, Executive General Managers and board members. You’ll be instrumental in embedding the newly implemented HRIS (Workday – Talent & Learning modules), while also coordinating key learning and engagement initiatives already in motion.
You will be responsible for:
- Coordinating and implementing learning and development programs (e.g., enterprise-wide programs, mentoring pilots)
- Partnering with internal and external providers to ensure smooth program delivery
- Managing learning logistics: calendars, room bookings, comms, participant support
- Supporting the ongoing adoption of Workday and LinkedIn Learning across the organisation
- Acting as a trusted point of contact for learning enquiries and advice
- Tracking engagement, learning data and reporting through Workday and other platforms
- Contributing to key people initiatives including the annual engagement survey (Culture Amp)
You will also:
- Liaise with senior stakeholders to understand capability needs and recommend suitable learning solutions
- Take ownership of learning administration and reporting to ensure accurate tracking of training activity
- Support culture, engagement and people experience initiatives
- Help foster a learning culture where development is easy to access and visibly supported
You will bring:
- Previous experience in a Learning & Development or HR Advisory role with a strong interest in capability building
- Strong coordination and administration skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Comfortable working with systems and data – ideally with experience in Workday, or another LMS (e.g., SuccessFactors)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including with senior stakeholders
- A proactive, flexible approach with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail
- A collaborative, down-to-earth nature with a willingness to roll up your sleeves
- Experience supporting hybrid or remote teams is advantageous
This is a great opportunity to step into a meaningful and varied L&D role where you’ll work alongside a genuinely warm and supportive team, contribute to organisation-wide initiatives, and continue growing your expertise in a high-trust environment.
If you are confident that your experience reflects the criteria outlined, please apply on-line to the attention of Jessica Tovey referencing Job 3965435.
