About the Client
Our client is a respected global player in the logistics sector, recognised for its strong commitment to people, safety, and operational excellence. With ongoing expansion across Australia, they are looking for an experienced Learning & Development Coordinator to build workforce capability and strengthen engagement across the business.
About the Role
WorkPac are seeking a confident and collaborative L&D Coordinator to join our client’s Human Resources team. In this role, you will take the lead in designing, implementing, and evaluating learning initiatives that directly support organisational goals. Partnering with managers, subject matter experts, and external providers, you will deliver programs that develop skills, lift performance, and promote a strong safety and compliance culture. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role with scope and influence, where you’ll work with autonomy while contributing to continuous improvement across the HR function.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement learning and development solutions aligned to strategic and operational goals
Partner with leaders and subject matter experts to design and deliver training programs
Oversee inductions, compliance training, and capability-building initiatives across multiple sites
Manage the learning management system (LMS), including reporting, content updates, and compliance records
Evaluate program effectiveness using appropriate metrics and feedback
Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on training and development pathways
Support HR projects, change initiatives, and continuous improvement of workforce capability
Skills and Experience Required
Qualification in Human Resources, L&D, Training, or related field (advantageous)
Demonstrated experience in learning and development, preferably within logistics, transport, or other blue-collar industries
Strong knowledge of training frameworks, compliance requirements, and adult learning principles
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence outcomes
Proven ability to design, deliver, and evaluate capability-building programs
Strong organisational and time management skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR/LMS systems
