About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Ready Towing team as a Racq Service Van Operator on a contract basis. Based in Brisbane QLD 4000, this role will involve providing critical on-site technical support and vehicle mechanical repair services to our valued clients.

As a Racq Service Van Operator, you will be responsible for efficiently and effectively delivering a range of technical services to ensure our clients' operations run smoothly. This is a hands-on position that requires a high level of technical expertise, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently.

What you'll be doing

Provide on-site repair services for a variety of vehicles

Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, and implement appropriate solutions

Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner

Maintain detailed records of all service activities and equipment status

Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service

Ensure the service van is well-stocked and maintained to support efficient service delivery

Adhere to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar role, preferably within the vehicle breakdown industry

Minimum 1-2 years of service technician experience is required

Vehicle breakdown industry experience is preferred but flexibility will be shown for candidates with strong technical backgrounds

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues

Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a service van

A valid Car licence (C class) is required for operating the service van

Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management

Permanent residency status is required for this position
