Look Cabinets is seeking an experienced Cabinetmaking Factory Manager to lead our team in Yandina, QLD. In this full-time role, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of our cabinetmaking factory, ensuring projects run smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standard of quality. What you'll be doing

Managing the production workflow, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control

Supervising and coordinating the work of cabinetmakers and production staff

Experience managing teams of 20-30 staff members is required

Implementing and maintaining safety procedures to ensure a safe workplace

Overseeing machinery and equipment maintenance and repairs

Monitoring inventory and organising material orders as needed

Identifying and driving process improvements to boost efficiency and productivity

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience in a cabinetmaking factory or similar production environment

Proven experience managing a team of cabinetmakers

Strong knowledge of cabinetmaking techniques, materials, and machinery

Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Familiarity with relevant workplace health and safety regulations

Strong organisational, time management, and leadership abilities

Clear and effective communication skills

Trade certificate is required for this position
