About the role
Opportunities exist for qualified and passionate Chef de Partie and Commis Chefs across both businesses, depending on your preferred interests and development goals.
Working with our experienced, talented and friendly team in a dynamic and professional environment there is opportunity for career development whilst being inspired along the way.
Reporting to the Head Chef your responsibilities may include:
Preparing and cooking food according to customers’ orders
Ensuring that all dishes created are of high quality and presented well
Provide input to seasonal changes and / or specials to the menus
Order food supplies as required
Demonstrating cooking techniques to the kitchen staff and advise other chefs / cooks on cooking procedures
Help monitor costs with special regard to portion control, waste minimisation and stock control
Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations, safe work practice and having knowledge of allergy restricted food
Carrying out quality checks on food supplies to ensure quality and freshness
Liaising with Front of House Manager / team to ensure that a smooth service is always provided to the customers
Skills and experience

Demonstrated knowledge of food safety
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and as a team player
Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekend's and public holidays
