About the role

We are seeking a Farm livestock and operations assistant to join our team at RedHills , Arthur River WA 6315.

We are a family run operation with a welcoming atmosphere, where staff stay for years because they value the work and the community.

This is a full-time role that will encompass all areas of farming -our lamb feedlot, sheep and cropping operations

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the general care and management of our farm livestock, including feeding, watering, and monitoring their health and wellbeing

Cleaning grain and mixing rations for our lamb feedlot . Feeding using a tractor driven feed wagon

Helping with the daily farm operations-every day brings variety

Fencing and yard building

Operate machinery such as telehandlers, tractors, trucks. ...(we will train you if you have knowledge gaps)

Work with our friendly team to ensure efficient running of the farm

What we're looking for

Relevant experience in farm labour or a similar agricultural role

An understanding of livestock care and farming operations

Excellent observational and problem-solving skills to identify and address any issues that may arise

Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the wider farm team

A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the farm
