With a rapidly expanding store network across the East Coast and recent moves into international markets, the business is strengthening its property team. They now seek an influential Retail Construction Project Manager to join their high-performing Brisbane-based team.
You’ll be one of just two PMs covering Queensland, reporting directly to the State Head of Construction, and will oversee major fit-outs and new-build works across both leased and owned sites.

The Role
Reporting to the State Construction Manager, you’ll manage a portfolio of projects end-to-end, delivering on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. From DA lodgements and council approvals to working with architects, consultants, and contractors, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future footprint of this thriving brand.
You’ll be hands-on, juggling multiple projects at once, sometimes in live operating environments. This is a role that rewards discipline, initiative, and the ability to think several steps ahead. While there’s no direct staff management, you’ll be supported by a capable headVoffice team and empowered to take real ownership of outcomes.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: 5–10+ years in project delivery across retail, hospitality, or commercial new-build with complexity.
- Practical know-how: Trade background advantageous to hold contractors accountable and keep builds on track
- Technical skills: DA lodgements, stakeholder engagement, and ideally experience with Smartsheets (or similar tools)
- Qualifications: Tertiary studies in property or construction highly regarded
- Mindset: Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong OH&S and reporting discipline
- Soft skills: High EQ, clear communicator, commercially minded, and able to collaborate effectively across the business
