About the Company: This is a privately owned civil and construction company who specialise in bulk earthworks, piling and ground engineering technologies across Melbourne and the surrounding areas.
About the Role: We are seeking a Project Manager to initially work on a large-scale infrastructure project and to then move to managing various piling and retention projects across Melbourne. You will work across multiple projects simultaneously that cover bulk earthworks, CFA, bored piling, shoring and anchoring works.
About the Duties:

• Liaising with clients/contractors/subcontractor
• Work with internal teams
• Attending site meetings
• Assisting with initial site set up
• Procurement of plant and materials
• Managing the day-to-day aspects of the projects
• Budget and cost control
• Monthly project reporting, financial reporting & progress claim reports
• Daily programme updates, weekly reporting
• Carry out QA/QC, OH&S reporting
• Provide technical support
• Mentor junior members of the team

About the Requirements:

• Civil Engineering or Construction qualification
• Knowledge of excavation, piling and retention systems
• Knowledge of VIC Roads is desirable
• Have a history of delivering piling projects
• Excellent project planning skills
• Strong record of cost control over projects
• Be driven to deliver projects
• At times have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent record keeping skills
• Driving license
