ENZE Bakery (Foodi App Pty Ltd) specialises in making Japanese chiffon cakes fresh to order daily.

With an expanding business, we are seeking Pastrycooks with experience in the baking and decorating of chiffon cakes to join our brigade-style kitchen, helping in the production of up to 500 items daily.

Working in a team under a Senior Pastrycook, you will be undertaking the following tasks:

• ensuring a clean workspace and kitchen by applying food safety protocols

• checking the quality of ingredients before weighing or measuring

• preparing pastry fillings

• monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times

• monitoring humidity and ambient temperatures and adjusting techniques accordingly in order to maintain cake quality and form

• decorating cakes by piping cream or custard, applying fruit, edible florals, chocolate shavings

• cleaning baking trays, tins and other cooking equipment
