About the role

We are seeking an experienced and friendly Receptionist to join our team at The Panorama Hotel in St Helens, Tasmania. This is a part-time role, offering the perfect work-life balance. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming, positive experience.

What you'll be doing

Greeting guests and making their check-in/check-out experience enjoyable and seamless.

Answering incoming phone calls and dealing with them as required.

Providing excellent customer service and handling inquiries and bookings for accommodation & the restaurant as required.

Assisting with various office duties as needed.

Maintaining a neat and organised reception area

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a hotel Receptionist or in a similar customer service role

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and friendly demeanour

Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail

Experience with the RMS booking system an advantage but not essential

Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

Availability to work early and late shifts as well as weekends and public holidays as required
