The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing practice, including our brand-new Skin Cancer Centre, committed to creating an exceptional work environment focused on delivering outstanding patient care. Australian Family Medical can accommodate up to fifteen doctors and is seeking dedicated, self-driven medical receptionists who are passionate about providing top-tier customer service.

Main Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
● Greeting arriving patients in a warm and friendly manner.
● Patient appointments and billing.
● Supporting doctors.
● Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records.

Who you are?

The ideal candidate should have the following:
● Previous experience as a receptionist, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
● Great customer service.
● Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks while maintaining timely service.
● Excellent communication skills including a professional & personable telephone manner.
● Positive attitude with fresh ideas.
● Knowledge of Best Practice and HotDocs is helpful.
● Neat and professional presentation.
