We are looking for a passionate and experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team at Enjoyability. This is a casual position, providing flexible work arrangements to support our clients with their daily living activities and community engagement.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in empowering individuals with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities. Your focus will be on providing personalised care and support that enhances their quality of life and promotes their overall wellbeing.

What you'll be doing

Helping clients with household chores and other daily living activities

Providing transportation and accompaniment to appointments, social activities, and community events

Encouraging and supporting clients to develop and maintain independence, social skills, and community integration

Maintaining accurate records and documentation to ensure the highest quality of care

Collaborating with the client, their family, and the wider care team to develop and implement individualised support plans

What we're looking for

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar disability support or aged care role

A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients

Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities

Flexibility and the ability to adapt to the unique needs and preferences of each client

A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle

A valid First Aid certificate
