Our client is a proudly Australian-owned steel manufacturer with over 100 years of industry experience. With multiple factories across the country, they have built a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and innovation. Their Queanbeyan branch is a close-knit team that values hard work, safety, and a supportive work environment. They are currently seeking a reliable and motivated HC driver to join their team.

Your new role

In your new role, you'll be responsible for:

• Driving the company truck to and from the factory and customer sites
  
• Operating a Hiab crane to load and unload the truck on site
  
• Maintaining the truck and ensuring it is kept in good working order
  
• Liaising with customers and representing the company professionally
  
• Assisting in the factory with preparing orders and general duties as required
  

This role requires flexibility and a team-oriented attitude, as you may be asked to support factory operations from time to time

What you'll need to succeed

This company is looking for drivers who have:

• A Heavy Combination (HC) truck license and recent operating experience
  
• A Hiab crane (CV) ticket and recent operating experience - or a willingness to obtain a Hiab license if not currently licensed
  
• A valid White Card, Asbestos Awareness, and Silica Awareness card
  
• Excellent communication skills and a strong team player mindset

• Work Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 2:00pm, plus overtime
