About the role

Rielle Building is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our growing team in the lower north shore and Northern beaches. As a full-time Carpenter, you will be responsible for the construction, installation, and maintenance of various building structures and components. What you'll be doing

Read and interpret plans and specifications to determine the required materials and construction methods

Measure, cut, fit, and assemble structures, including walls, floors, stairs, and roofs

Install doors, windows, cabinets, and other building components

Perform general maintenance and repair tasks on existing structures

Collaborate with the construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards

Adhere to all workplace health and safety regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

Formal trade qualification in Carpentry, or equivalent experience

Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Carpenter in the building industry

Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
