Konic Group, based in Adelaide, is a specialist service provider in the high voltage industry, working across Transmission, Distribution, Generation, and Renewables projects. We are seeking an Inhouse Licensed Mechanic to join our team and support the assembly and maintenance of power transformers and other high voltage apparatus within substations and related infrastructure.

This role focuses on maintaining and servicing motors, pumps, and filtration equipment associated with transformer projects, while also being responsible for the upkeep of our growing fleet of vehicles, generators, and mobile plant.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance, repair, and servicing of motors, pumps, and transformer filtration equipment.

Support mechanical aspects of transformer and high voltage apparatus assembly projects.

Maintain Konic Group’s fleet of vehicles, generators, and mobile plant.

Work on-site across substations and high voltage infrastructure projects throughout Australia.

Ensure safe work practices and compliance with company and industry standards.

Skills & Qualifications Required:

Trade qualification/licence as a Mechanic (e.g. Automotive Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, or Mechanical Fitter).

Experience working with motors, pumps, or filtration systems.

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

Ability to maintain and repair vehicles, generators, and plant equipment.

White Card (Construction Induction).

Current driver’s licence.

Flexibility to travel to projects across Australia.

Highly Regarded (but not essential):

Experience in the high voltage or heavy industrial sector.

High Risk licences (e.g. forklift, EWP, dogging/rigging).

Awareness of substation safety requirements.
