Immediate Start: Reliability Engineer – FIFO from Brisbane or Townsville ✈️
We’re looking for a skilled Reliability Engineer with Mobile Equipment experience to join a dynamic site team on an initial short term FIFO contract.

🗓️ Roster - mixture of 4/3 and 8/6 with 12 hours per day
📍 FIFO from Brisbane or Townsville
💰 $80–$100/h + super
📅 Immediate start – potential for extension

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer with extensive MOBILE equipment experience for an up-and-coming assignment in QLD. Reporting to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager, executing projects to enhance operational efficiencies and equipping teams to deliver sustainable high-performance results will be part of your key deliverables. With a drive for continuous improvement and innovation, you will provide direction and governance over maintenance strategies and asset health condition monitoring.

With extensive knowledge of asset management and reliability practices, coupled with a broader understanding of open cut mining, you are a solution focused, pragmatic leader with the ability to function in a complex mining environment. You have the ability to influence stakeholders, challenge the norm and implement change, bringing everyone along on the journey to understand the benefits they will deliver.

To secure this exciting opportunity you will be an experienced degree qualified Engineering professional with a minimum of 5 year’s experience, an understanding of Queensland legislative requirements and a proven track record in mobile underground equipment. Proficiency in being able extract & interpret information from reporting systems and reliability & continuous improvement systems is paramount. You will be highly motivated, possess superior communication skills, and be passionate about maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and driving the greatest outcomes.

ABOUT YOU

• Reliability Engineering skills

• U/G Mobile Equipment essential

• Skills in RCA methodologies, condition monitoring and project delivery

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to articulate and explain complex technical information

• Between 1 - 3 years’ experience in the reliability space

• Good time management skills, self-starter and self-managing.

• Good communication and liaison skills.

• Australian Work Rights - Birth Certificate, Passport and/or valid Visa.
