What You Will Be Doing

This role supports mechanical governance and technical stewardship across site operations. Key responsibilities include:

• Championing Management of Change (MoC) processes

• Reviewing mechanical documents and designs at site and asset level

• Administering and reviewing Intelics registers

• Providing technical guidance aligned with standards and procedures

• Supporting RS23 reviews and WRACs

• Acting as risk control owner for mechanical hazards (e.g. dropped objects, stored energy)

• Supporting MEM processes including dossier reviews, incident investigations, and risk assessments

• Participating in BOS processes, field leadership, hazard ID, and crew safety meetings

What You Will Need

• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering (university or trade)

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in mining

• Proficient in SAP Work Management, Fiori, BHP MoC, D2, Meridian, FLEX, MS Suite, and GRC

• Ability and willingness to work underground

• Eligible for appointment as a supervisor

• Prior coal mining experience (underground preferred)

• Experience in maintenance and engineering roles
