What You Will Be Doing

Reporting to the Superintendent – Governance and Technical Stewardship, you will:

Provide specialist civil/structural engineering support across Infrastructure & Services

Lead risk-based assessments and remediation planning for structural assets

Partner with engineers and operational stakeholders to develop and implement engineered solutions

Support the planning, execution, and commissioning of Asset Integrity Remediation packages

Conduct field verifications and develop inspection task instructions

Ensure compliance with BMA’s safety, design, and governance standards

Contribute to reporting and execution strategies in collaboration with Maintenance, Production, and Project teams

What You Will Need

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

Experience in mining, heavy industry, or construction projects

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and contractors simultaneously

Technical and commercial acumen with a problem-solving mindset

Familiarity with structural steel and concrete design is advantageous
