As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in our finance department, reporting directly to the Finance Manager. You will be the second-in-command (2IC) to the Finance Manager, providing support and leadership in various financial functions. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Accounting operations including AR & Sales, AP & purchasing, payroll & HR, fixed assets, banking, stakeholders & advisors.

Managing the general ledger and overseeing month-end and year-end close processes.

Assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities.

Cash flow management

Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and preparing tax returns and other tax lodgements.

Mentoring and providing guidance to junior accounting staff.

Collaborating with other departments to ensure financial alignment with company goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

CPA or CA certification preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
